Promoting your talk
We’re back for a reunion like no other, how will you make your talk stand out?
Speaker marketing is an essential element of your talk. We can never guarantee a full house, no matter how good the content is, and therefore encourage you to engage heavily in creating and utilising promotional assets.
Personalised Speaker Graphics
One of the easiest ways to create a buzz around your talk is sharing that you are attending Cannes Lions on your personal and company social media channels. You can download personalised speaker graphics on the Speaker Portal to share across your social platforms. From April, the ‘Promotional Assets’ tab will appear. If you have completed all details of your speaker profile, you will be able to download personalised graphics to share.

Create an engaging trailer for your talk and we will share it on social media and possibly display it on Festival screens around the Palais. You can share with the Content Operations team or upload directly to the Speaker Portal.

- MP4 or .mov file
- Include important information: Time / Date / Stage / Name of talk
Go a step further...
One way to take your talk to the next level is by incorporating a giveaway.
Examples from the last physical Festival included:
- Thomas Heatherwick gave away a chair designed by him.
- Formula 1 gave away two tickets.
- IKEA gave away furniture
- Mastercard gave out perfume samples
- Budweiser gave out tokens to a bar in Cannes with which they had an agreement for attendees to claim a free Budweiser.
When thinking about what you could do, please be planet-conscious. Sustainability is a key, ongoing focus for the Festival. Please bear this in mind when planning your talk giveaways. All items are subject to Cannes Lions approval. Please contact the Content Operations team to discuss your idea!
