LIONS Live: Your Questions Answered

LIONS Live was born out of the desire to support our global community in times for which no playbook exists and where we can no longer rely on existing logic or experience. There was a real appetite for a platform where the world’s creative community could share ideas, problem solve and take some time to reflect and reset. But we hadn’t anticipated just how much the creative community needed it. We saw an incredible response to LIONS Live with over 70,000 individuals registered from across 145 countries, who joined us to celebrate creative excellence from all over the world, to reignite their imaginations and to evoke positive change. The community was so engaged that we couldn’t just end LIONS Live on 29 June. Your questions kept coming in and our speakers simply didn’t have time to answer all of them while the show was running. Over the course of the week, you put 473 questions to our speakers. Thank you for your active participation and curiosity. In this report, we’ve partnered with WeTransfer to share the unfinished Q&As with some of your top-rated speakers, including BBDO’s Josy Paul, Isobar’s Jean Lin, Google’s Lorraine Twohill and Framestore’s Mike McGee. As these experts shed light on new ideas and trends, we’ve provided additional commentary from WeTransfer’s Chief Advertising Officer, Natascha Chamuleau. Natascha explores 'what to think about next' based on insights from their Ideas Report, alongside commentary from LIONS by our Head of Awards, Susie Walker and Managing Director, Simon Cook.
