Top Tips

We want you to deliver the best presentation possible so we have created a Top Tips guide, which is filled with tips and tricks as to what does (and does not) work in the classroom at Cannes Lions.

Points to consider when planning your presentation...

Defamatory Content

Your presentation should not contain any defamatory, obscene or inflammatory content that would be likely to bring Cannes Lions Festival or Ascential Events into disrepute.

Permissions and Copyright

You have obtained all necessary permissions, clearances, and any other approvals required by third-party content contained in your presentation and this has been confirmed with the Contents Operations team.

Provoke, challenge, incite. Be a storyteller

Please don’t play it safe – be daring and be provocative. The best content on our platform always challenges assumptions and offers new (and radical) ideas around age-old issues.

Inject some LIONS Magic

You know that speech that gives you goosebumps, the article that you end up emailing around your team, the video that truly opened your eyes to new thinking? Make that speech your speech. LIONS is the world’s largest gathering of a creative community - aim to inspire!
